The legend has it that the Cornish Fairy picks a house and builds a small door so it can get in and out easily. The fairy will bring good luck and protect the occupants. It seems that we have had a visit from the Cornish Fairy. I recently went to the cottage and found that this tiny door has been built in the skirting board.
We also found the smallest of notes. I examined it using my very powerful magnifying glass – and all I could make out of the very tiny writing was something that looked a bit like “looking forward to seeing Katrina”
It looks like a very delicate fairy door so I don’t think human hands should touch it.
(My niece Katrina is staying in the cottage shortly – I assume they mean her.)
